Supported macros

List of supported Confluence macros

The style of Confluence pages is matched in most templates. Note that some templates override this style to change the default font or re-style panels (e.g. by removing the icon), and more.

List of unsupported Confluence macros

We may eventually add support for some of what is detailed below, and we encourage you to check out our roadmap and share your feedback to help us prioritize future changes.

Extensions

The Atlassian Marketplace offers apps for Confluence that may add custom macros to Confluence. Those will not be supported by PageMailer. Examples would include rich inline card showing information for a private GitHub repository, or a Slack channel, or an Asana task.

Custom emojis

PageMailer does not yet support emojis added by users of your Atlassian workspace. We are currently evaluating the feasibility of supporting custom emojis.

Placeholders

Placeholders are invisible macros that show up in a Confluence page in edit mode. They are usually added as part of a template. PageMailer will display a warning before sending an email with placeholders, to inform the user that they will be skipped during the rendering.
